The collection of waste vegetable oil and the processing for the production of biodiesel is becoming more important every day. Due to a growing awareness that resources will not be available endlessly the recycling of collected secondary materials is continuously developing into an increasing economic sector.

Nowadays secondary materials are collected and recycled in different ways throughout Europe. Alone in Austria several tons of waste vegetable oil are collected daily for recycling with modern suction vehicles or special collection logistics with containers or barrels.

The eco-balance of disposal, recycling and processing of waste vegetable oil into biodiesel is superior to all other means of recycling. Biodiesel from waste vegetable oil and fat is considerably more environment-friendly than biodiesel from rapeseed, palm or soya bean oil.
